my daughter found a baby magpie fallen from his nest, the nest got hit by a football at school, the 2 other eggs were no good but this little one we think is prematurely born due to his lack of feathers or fluff. She has been named Maggie and from finding what info we could from the internet, we have been feeding her cat food and drops of water. Yesterday we had to hold her head up and encourage her to open her mouth, this morning any slight noise we made and her head popped up and her mouth was wide open....... every now and then she gives us a little chirp...ahh her legs are stronger she has been standing up on them and turning herself around in her little nest we made her.

Oh, wow! Hope he/she is still going strong. Bet it's been hard work for you, though.
