Tag You're It Challenge

I just love the colour purple and that was the theme this week from Tag You're It! so here is the front and the back of the tag I made, i used papermania amethyst papers same purple sparkly butterflies and some purple gemstones, the middle of the flowers I coloured with sakura glitter pen, purple of course.

Two challenges combined

this card is made from two challenges firstly sketch saturday was a fab sketch to follow and secondly the theme for this week from Secret crafter challenge was at the zoo, so a zoo animal had to be included. I used this lovely giraffe stamp which was coloured in using Tim Holtz dried marigold ink pad and I followed the sketch using brown and oranges.

Lotstodo challenge week 5

This weeks theme from Lots To Do challenge blog was stitches.

I put this card together adding hand drawn stitching around the edge if the stamped image, the image itself has stitching on the girls trousers too, the scallop also has some hand drawn stitches but is difficult to see from the photo.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Here's my card for the sketch saturday challenge, I've used a papermaia raspberry paper, some cardstock with an adhesive ribbon through the middle, some prima flowers fixed with brads, a magnolia image which I coloured with promarkers and inked around the edges and the word hug

Penny black challenge

this weeks challenge from Penny Black Saturday Challenge was to create something which contained a frame so I framed this little hedgehog whose sat on his golf ball. I've coloured him in using pro markers and the frame I coloured using an ink pad.

Unicorn atc

the challenge over on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog was to create something using peel offs so I made this atc by pacing a sparkly unicorn peel off onto an encaustic wax background, unfotunately it didn't photograph very well.

I raided through all my stash and I could only find a piece of A4 paper and a few embellishments, so decided to make a fat page, this was the result

My first blog award

wow how chuffed am I today, i've recieved an award from my new friend Lorraine thank you so much, just what i need after my start to the new year, as on the 3rd Jan my grandfather passed away, then on the 7th the electricity supplier I just left, rang me to say i owed £2700 for 2 months of electric, I don't think so, so that is being delt with by compalaints, then on the 11th my heater caught on fire, we were woken at 7am by the smoke alarm, on the 12th my dod S**t all over the kitchen floor which took me an hour to clean up and today my hoover has died, thought it was suppose to come in 3's.

1 I love crafting especially cardmaking

2 I adore animals, I currently have a dog, rabbit, 2 gerbils and 2 leopard geckos

5 I have become addicted to blog hoping and taking part in the fabulous challenges

Lotstodo Challenge - Time

Lotstodo Challenge theme this week is Time.
The idea is to create anything as long it ties in with the time theme.
I didn't have much for this theme other than this stamp so i stamped an atc and ripped around the edges to give it a tattered look and aged it using Tim Holtz inks.

Map Page Challenge

On crafting corner forum there is a challenge to make a page with the theme Christmas following a scrap page map, scrapbooking is very new to me this is the 3rd one I've made. I thought I'd use this photo as its the first time my children have had the courage to visit Santa in his grotto.

I coloured the ribbon with a glitter gel pen, added a few gem stones and a ribbon
